Job description

1. The Role of the Logistics and Haulage Manager is to ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers and put in place a detailed Management reporting system with clearly defines KPI’s that would ensure customer satisfaction.

2. He would be liaise with the Production and Sales team to ensure that products are delivered to customers in line with company corporate objectives on Quality, Cost and Time.
He would be expected to provide regular feedback to Management on his team’s activities.

3. The Logistics Manager would also be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the all staff in the department creating the right environment for them to deliver on their objectives.

The person should be able to lead the organizations Logistics and Transport Team helping to build Standard systems and processes that would guarantee customer satisfaction and product availability.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of goods
• Implement detailed management reporting
• Implement systems to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure vehicles are being maintained in roadworthy condition
• Measure the efficiency of the vehicles
• Ensure the staff in the department are all effectively carrying out their duties.

SITUATION REQUIREMENT;

• Ready to work in the office and offsite locations.
• Should have flexible working time and willing to work odd hours when required.
• Would be required to periodically undertake trips to spot check on vehicles.

Qualification/grade required: Possession of Relevant Professional Qualifications would be an added advantage. ♣ Strong leader

Expected expertise:

Word, Excel, Powerpoint, ERP K

Minimum years of experience: 5 years

Salary: Negotiable within the Org Pay Structure
