Job description

The Role of the Distribution Planning Manager is to provide Leadership for the Distribution Planning Team and ensure that systems and processes are in place that would enable the organization fulfil all customers’ orders on a daily basis in a sustainable way, and in line with the Organizations Corporate Objectives.

Job responsibilities

•Work with the HDM and sales team to evaluate and plan demand trends.
•Work with the Distributor Distribution team and Distribution executives to ensure that the right routing arrangements are in place to support Order fulfilment.
•Work with the Distributors Distribution Teams and the Distribution Team to ensure Distributors have adequate Inventory to meet customer Demand.
•Work with the Distributors Distribution Team and Distribution Executives to Plan and prepare a consolidated Shipment Plan.
•Monitor Daily fulfillment of orders against orders received, evaluate the issues affecting order fulfillment, proffer and implement solutions to resolve them.
•Develope Key Distribution Metrics in line with Organization objectives and ensure that they are always achieved.
•Provide Leadership to the Distribution Team and ensure that they have the right support to achieve their set objectives.

Qualification/grade required: Min of 2.2 of its equivalent. Possession of relevant professional Experience would be an advantage

Expected expertise:

•Strong Customer Service Ski

Minimum years of experience: 5 years

Salary: Negotiable within the Org Pay Structure
